Dubai has officially launched Innovation Hub, a dedicated free zone for technology startups and scale-ups, located within the Dubai South district near Al Maktoum International Airport and Expo City.
Innovation Hub is a purpose-built technology free zone spanning 2.5 million square feet, designed to attract startups in artificial intelligence, fintech, healthtech, cleantech, and Web3.
Innovation Hub offers three tiers of licenses:
Innovation Hub is partnering with global accelerators including Y Combinator, Techstars, and 500 Global to offer 12-week accelerator programs. Selected startups will receive up to AED 500,000 in funding and mentorship from industry leaders.
The location is strategic: adjacent to Expo City (the former Expo 2020 site), close to Al Maktoum International Airport, and connected to the upcoming Metro Blue Line. Dubai South is also home to the Aviation District and Logistics Corridor.

Applications are open online. The registration process takes 3 business days, and licenses can be issued digitally without an in-person visit. Early registrants (before April 2026) receive a 30% discount on first-year license fees.
